Wear resistant concretes TRIBET
Advantages of a lining from wear resistant concrete:
      - Uniform and compact protection surfaces without cracks
      - The lining can cover equipment of any complex shape
      - Quality variations of the concrete kinds:
         - A suitable concrete kind is selected, according to the local exposure to abrasion
(the transition between different kinds of concrete is continuous)
         - A suitable thickness of the protective layer is selected, according to the local exposure
           to abrasion
(the transition between different thicknesses is continuous)

- The perfect gripping on the surface is ensured by the weld on steel mesh inside the lining
      - Simple and fast application of the lining in the form of classic masonry works
      - Easy and safe handling in bags to the lining application places
      - Up to 4 times higher wear resistance than cast basalt

Recommended conditions suitable for the wear resistant concrete applications:
      - the grain size of the conveyed abrasive material to 4mm

      - operating temperature till to 400°C
      - angles of incidence of the conveyed material to about 30°
        (at incident angles to 15° - excellent wear resistance of concrete; to 30° - resistance is very good;
to 45° - satisfactory resistance; at angles above 45° resistance drops significantly and the angles of incidence over 60° using concrete not recommended)

      - the flow velocity of the conveyed material to about

  Application of wear resistant concrete:

- plastering - solid concrete application on larger surfaces on welded mesh holding in thickness from 15 mm
      - casting -  pouring a thinner concrete into confined spaces, narrow pipe or vertical surfaces (thickness arbitrary)

Types of wear-resistant concrete Tribet supplied by Tribo s.r.o.:

Characterization:        wear resistant concrete with extreme abrasion resistance
              Abrasion resistance*: 0,8 – 1
Using:                         protection of industrial equipment exposed to extreme abrasion
Examples:                  bends in pneumatic transport for highly abrasive particles (coke and coal dust, cement, slag, etc.),
the most stressed areas in the mills, crushers and separators

Characterization:         wear resistant concrete with high abrasion resistance
              Abrasion resistance*:  1,2 – 1,4
Using:                          protection of industrial equipment exposed to high abrasion
Examples:                   bends in the extraction system (suction) highly abrasive particles (coke and coal dust,
                                                             cement, slag, etc.),
cyclones, bends in suction piping, straight sections in the air-operated
                                                  transport, conveyors, chutes, separators, mills

Characterization:          wear resistant concrete with very good abrasion resistance
              Abrasion resistance*:   3,5 – 3,8
Using:                           protection of industrial equipment exposed to moderate abrasion
Examples:                    straight sections in the exhaust system of abrasive particles,
less stressed parts of cyclones, chutes
